Max & David's is the Delaware Valley's only destination kosher restaurant. We turn kosher dining on its ear by offering homemade, international cuisine served with care in a beautiful, Mediterranean-influenced atmosphere. Max & David's is the dream of entrepreneurs Robin and Steven Katz, avid travelers who know first-hand how keeping kosher can limit dining options. The Katz's drew upon the talent of acclaimed cookbook author and chef Aliza Green to create a great restaurant that just happens to be kosher. Menu selections were gathered by Green during pilgrimages to Europe, the Caribbean, Asia and across the United States, and will be created, whenever possible, from locally grown ingredients. In addition, Robin and Steven hired executive restaurant consultant, Tonya Breslow, who has 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, to hire and train the staff at Max & David's. Breslow is a principle recruiter for prominent local and national restaurants, including the Starr Organization. Both Green and Breslow have been very instrumental in helping to realize the Max & David's dream.
