After making his name in the spot-lit New York, Washington D.C. and Northern California restaurant scenes, Chef Daniel Stern returned to his home town and opened Gayle, a 35 seat restaurant in Queen Village which Bon Appétit would call one of the nations “ Top 10 Hottest New Restaurants.” At Gayle, Chef Stern fulfills his dream of serving creative American food in a casual atmosphere (which includes an outdoor courtyard). As Craig LaBan, restaurant critic for The Philadelphia Inquirer, described, “Chef Daniel Stern is playing with the food, taking dishes apart and putting them back together as delicious culinary works of art.”
Gayle serves dinner from it’s a la carte menu, in the dining room and outdoor courtyard, every Tuesday through Saturday. The full bar at Gayle includes beer, cocktails, and wine from its Best of Philly wine list. On Thursday nights, Gayle is BYO, and guests are welcome to enjoy bottles from the wine list at half price.
Convenient lot parking is available.
Cannot be used on Holidays or Saturday Nights.
